Fan Reaction: LA Lakers vs New York Knicks (Full Game Highlights} Dec 12, 2017 | NBA Season 2017-18

Young Lakers, the Big Apple, and a Unicorn? It sounds like a movie, but it is not. Let’s react! Although it was a 7 o’clock game in New York,
us folk out here on the West Coast got a matinee treat as the Los Angeles Lakers visited the
New York Knicks. In typical fashion, the Lakers were off to
the races providing a show in Madison Square Garden. You know I loved the long passes. It felt like football passes from the Lakers
leading assist giver Lonzo Ball to Larry Nance Jr and Brook Lopez. Also speaking of Larry Nance Jr, he came through
the lane in the 1st quarter as well with a Monster putback jam. I hear he gets it from his daddy. After an exciting quarter, the Lakers would
close out the first on top 29 to 25. Coach Walton has been preaching defense and
in the second quarter, we saw some of that defense shine as Brandon Ingram got a block
on Kristaps Porzingis. This is also where the Lakers youth got exposed
as they did well in scoring, but let that let slip away going into halftime with the
score, LA on top, 51 to 50. Coming into the 3rd the Knicks tried to take
control of the game, but Lonzo took control of things with a steal, and a 3 pointer helping
the Lakers get back into the lead. The Lakers would take a lead going into the
4th quarter 79 to 76. In one of the most exciting 4th quarters,
we have seen we were battling Porzingis who poured in 33 points for the quarter, but thanks
to Kyle Kuzma knocking down a three tied the game sending the game to overtime tied at
99. As if the entire game wasn’t exciting enough
the Lakers bench almost lost their mind on a McDermott hold, that allowed him to get
a bucket by keeping Lonzo from the ball. Near the end, the Lakers would come within
two after a defensive stop and a Kyle Kuzma bucket. Tonight Lonzo Ball definitely did his thing
pouring in 17 points with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also had 24 points
while Kuzma rained in 19. The man missing in action tonight was Brandon
Ingram going 2 for 12 only scoring 5 points. The Lakers played a tough game, but the Loss
sucks! There are no moral victories in losses so
I’m a little disappointed we couldn’t get the job done in New York. But, hey, thanks for checking out @LakersReact

game and feel free to let us know in the comments and we’ll see you next time on @LakersReact and thanks for checking out Lakers React on World-Wide LakerGang 4 Life
