– The New York Knicks
needing at least one win to make sure they don’t
set a new franchise record for fewest wins in a season. They were taking on the
Chicago Bulls and only fourth worst record in the NBA. And Dennis Smith was
pretty good early on. DSJ getting a few baskets there. He had 25 points on 23
shots in the ballgame. Game high for points scored. Knicks led by seven at halftime. Walt Lemon, Jr. on
the drive for Chicago. Then Brandon Sampson in a
corner for three as the Bulls pull within five. Henry Ellenson baseline
drive absorbs the bump and somehow gets the shot to go. The Knicks 10 point
winners 96-86 on the road. Now in tied the fewest
wins in franchise history.
