GRE Vocab Word of the Day: Inundate | Manhattan Prep

Posted by

Today’s word is inundate. Inundate means to overwhelm. As with news. News is all around us now. We’re overwhelmed by it. Doesn’t matter if we’re looking on our phone,
or watching television, or reading tweets, or looking at the ticker on the side of the
building. It’s coming at us from all sides. We’re overwhelmed, or inundated, with news. You’re a barista. You’re working the 6-11am shift. You’re going to be inundated with customers,
orders, and let’s face it, special requests. All shift long. Inundate. To overwhelm. Subscribe for more Word of the Day videos,
