GRE Vocab Word of the Day: Remiss | Manhattan Prep

Posted by

Today’s word is remiss, and it just means
negligent, like if there’s something you’re supposed to do that you’re not
doing. This word survives really just because of one phrase. It’s usually said
like “I would be remiss if…” Especially if it’s “I would be remiss if
I did not…” If I see a bunch of food in your teeth, and it’s just this big green
leaf sticking out of your teeth, and I don’t really want to tell you but I feel
like I should? I might say “I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about
that food in your teeth.” Subscribe for more Word of the Day videos,
