WITHOUT THE SUPPORT. LONNIE QUINN SAID TO KEEP THE UMBRELLAS OUT. WE HAVE A CHANCE OF RAIN ANY DAY THIS WEEK. WE ARE NOT CATCHING FOR RAIN IN NEW YORK CITY BUT LIKE ROUTE 84 NORTH AND THERE IS THE GRAY UNDERBELLY, AND I DON’T BELIEVE THE SHOWERS WILL GET INTO NEW YORK CITY TULE 8:00 P.M. AND MIDNIGHT, SOMETIME WITHIN THAT WINDOW. 74. LOOK AT THIS. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE AT 2:43 IN THE AFTERNOON ALMOST 80 DEGREES. WE WERE AT 79, 12 DEGREES WARMER THAN THE AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. SO WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW AND BEYOND? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? EXPECT IT NOT TO A GREAT LOOKING WEEK. AS I SAID JUST A SECOND AGO, RAIN CHANCE JUST ABOUT ANY DAY THIS WORK WEEK. TUESDAY LOOKS TO BE DRIER THAN THE REST. A CHANCE FOR RAIN TUESDAY MORNING AND THEN PARTLY SUNNY SKIES TUESDAY AFTERNOON, AND WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, OKAY, THREE DAYS IN A ROW YOU HAVE A CHANCE FOR RAIN BECAUSE THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PARK ITSELF OFFSHORE. BUT IT’S THE POSITION OF THE LOW WHERE IT PARKS ITSELF THAT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FORECAST. SO HERE IS THE DEAL. WE TALKED ABOUT THE ELEMENTS EARLIER IN THE HOUSE IN CAST. HERE IS THE COLD FRONT. EASY TO PICK UP. HERE IS THE COLD FRONT THAT WILL MAKES ITS WAY THROUGH TONIGHT. YOU GET RAIN TONIGHT AND THE FRONT WILL STALL OFFSHORE. THIS LOW WILL BE MOVING WITH THE FRONT. SO BY WEDNESDAY OR SO, I THINK TOMORROW, TRANSITIONING, CLOUDY AND RAIN IN THE MORNING AND BETTER IN THE AFTERNOON AND THEN WITH THE FRONT STALLING OFFSHORE, THE LOW IS STALLING OFFSHORE, AND IT STICKS AROUND ALL WEEK. BIG, BIG QUESTION IS WHERE IS IT GOING TO STALL? YOU HAVE MORE CLOUDS AND MORE RAIN BASICALLY FOR THE WORK WEEK. IF IT MAKES JUST A SUBTLE DIFFERENCE IN MOTHER NATURE’S WORLD LIKE 200 MILES FURTHER TO THE EAST WE WOULD HAVE LESS CLOUDS AND LESS RAIN, AND THE COMPUTER MODELS, WHERE ARE THEY LEANING? SOMETIME BETWEEN 8:00 P.M. AND MIDNIGHT, IT LINGERS WITH US THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. THIS IS 7:30 TOMORROW MORNING, STILL A CHANCE FOR WET WEATHER AND THEN MOVING OUT. RIGHT? AND ON TUESDAY, 1:30, LOOKING GOOD. WHAT ABOUT THE LOW I’M TALKING ABOUT? YOU NEED A BIGGER PICTURE. SO LET’S STRETCH THIS OUT. AND HERE YOU GO. YOU WILL FIND THE LOW OFFSHORE, AND STILL OFFSHORE, INTO WEDNESDAY NOW AND IT’S CLIPPING US. THAT’S THE CENTER THERE. SO THIS SOLUTION PUSH ITS FURTHER TO THE EAST AND WE GET LESS OUT OF IT. THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED. ALL RIGHT. I HAVE SEEN THE MODELS PUSHING IT TO THE WEST AND BRINGING THE BIGGER RAIN IN OUR DIRECTION, AND WE KEEP OUR EYES ON THIS ONE AND I THINK IT’S A POSSIBILITY THAT IT WILL AFFECT US WITH THE RAIN. 66 TOMORROW, COOLER THAN TODAY, UP CLOSE TO 80, A GOOD 10 TO 15 DEGREES COOLER. AND THERE IS AN EARLY CHANCE FOR RECEIPT WEATHER AND PEEKS OF SUN IN THE AFTERNOON AND THE WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY SETUP, IT’S A CLOUDY SKY THROUGHOUT. YOU HAVE NORTHEAST WINDS, SO ESPECIALLY THE NORTH SIDE OF LONG ISLAND COULD BE FEELING LIKE A NOR’EASTER. IT DEPENDS ON WHERE IT SETS UP. I THINK IT WILL BE RAINIER THAN THE COMPUTER MODELS.
